Gingered Flank Steak
Servings: 8
Ingredients
- 3 lbs flank steak
Marinade
- 1/4 cup mirin an Asian sweet cooking rice wine
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp chili oil
- 1/3 cup green onion chopped
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 1/4 cup fresh ginger minced
Instructions
- Whisk all marinade ingredients together.
- Score the flank steak.
- Place in a glass dish or large ziplock bag and add marinade. Marinate overnight or at least for four hours.
- Grill and cook to medium rare (130-135 degrees on instant read thermometer). Let rest for 10 minutes.
- Cut flank steak against the grain.
