We do!  These are very simple to make (only three ingredients).  They follow our margarita recipe ratio:  3 – 2 – 1.

  • Dash of bitters
  • 1/2 oz. of sweet vermouth
  • 2 oz. of bourbon
  • Maraschino cherry garnish

This is another cocktail from Skip.  We thought it was a very “American” drink and will help to round out your simple celebrations during this 4th of July holiday weekend.

Put ice in a short cocktail glass.  Pour in alcohol and stir.

You can make this drink straight up by shaking these ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker and straining into a martini glass.

Now sit back and enjoy!!

3-2-1 Hit the Floor Margaritas https://thesimplecelebration.com/2013/05/3-2-1-hit-the-floor-margaritas/ https://thesimplecelebration.com/2013/05/3-2-1-hit-the-floor-margaritas/#comments Sat, 18 May 2013 16:53:27 +0000 http://asimplecelebrationstpete.wordpress.com/?p=308 Facebooktwitterpinterest

The origin of the 3-2-1 in the recipe’s title refers to the proportions of the liquids required, however, over time, it has been modified to make a pitcher full.  We added hit the floor to the title because they are potent!

This recipe requires lots of fresh limes, but calls for no sugar or syrups, so it is a very clean tasting Margarita.
